Why JR, that's a quite preposterous thought.

Shock is better in a variety of situations, imo. If you're american and run "pressure", doesn't matter: bring a Magehunter warrior and sit on the prot.

Lol, if you're euro, and run "pressure" have you Mesmer camp the enemy mesmer the entire game, and 3, 2, 1 with your axe warriors.

euroing is srs bsns, i'll have you know. it takes massive amounts of skill to coordinate 4 characters who havent actually experienced damage the entire game (it being the 18:00 minute mark and your frontline(two mels) actually reopening the game window)
@topic. rend should never have been among the great warrior utilities, it emerged during a gay meta and hasnt resurfaced since LoD-SoD died.*
run shock, d dagger, or rip enchantment (for TA only imo).
*note:i'm, terrible at this game. if that statement is grossly wrong, by all means flame me.

Rip/Rend Enchantment is a useful consideration, but if and only if both warriors carry them.
Shock as they have all said before me is more versatile and disrupting. I see the enchantment removals as more of a pressure build.
Btw you have a paragon in your build withour mirror of disenchantment? I think your para bar might be bad >.>

it was more an issue of our warrior wanting to bring rend touch instead of shock, and since I haven't played war at a high level, I wanted the opinion of people that have. i could tell him shock is better, but then again, i'm just the mesmer :P
